Since the early nineties, however, his work has been dominated by etchings that are totally unorthodox, both in subject and in technique. This book offers an overview of all Bervoet's monumental graphic works between 1990 and 2010, complemented with a selection from his huge output of smaller works. This is a 'picture book' in the full sense of the term. Johan Pas (°1963) is an art historian and a lecturer at the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts. He is also an exhibition curator and the author of several books on contemporary art."
